The Interfaith Social Action Coalition of Talbot County consists of representatives of different faiths who together work on issues of social justice and social action in the community.  The mission of the Coalition is to define social concerns and to bring back recommendations for action to our faith congregations. Some examples of the Coalition's activities are active participation of a group of several congregations in the Talbot County Habitat for Humanity's Apostles Build project; formation of a separate Interfaith Hunger Coalition which provides box lunches weekly to elderly and disabled recipients and week-day lunches to residents of the Talbot County homeless shelter; support for the annual Multicultural Festival sponsored by PEACE.
